Bellini Strings

This ensemble of young professional players is one of the most sought after string quartets in the Midlands region. Regularly performing at weddings, corporate events and product launches The Bellini String Quartet has built up a reputation for their excellence, reliability and smart appearance.

Among the many venues where they have played include the G8 Summit in Birmingham, Warwick Castle, (where they are Quartet in residence) and Symphony Hall in Birmingham. In addition the quartet has performed for the Mayor of Birmingham, in the presence of her Majesty the Queen in Coventry.

Individual work for the players includes performances with the English Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of the Swan at Stratford on Avon, Birmingham Royal Ballet and The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

Repertoire

The Bellini String Quartet repertoire is very extensive, and the group endeavours to perform the exact type of music required at functions. The style of our music ranges from light classical (Mozart quartets, Pachelbel's Canon, and many well known tunes used for television commercials etc.), through the ragtimes of the 1920's to show tunes and light music of the present day.

Depending on your requirements the Bellini String Quartet can tailor their repertoire to suit individual requirements.

Dinner Dances

The Bellini String Quartet experience of playing at formal dinner is unparalleled. Past Events have included dining in nights and graduation meals for the RAF, Officers Mess dinners for many divisions of the forces, university and college dinners as far field as Bournemouth and Durham, special meals for numerous companies, including British Aerospace, Rank Xerox, BT, Granada Group, Sun Alliance and English Heritage, and many smaller events to mark specific occasions, held in small hotel suites and private venues throughout the country.
